On Monday, November 28, 2022, #MJGuardianShield alerted officers to an ‘06 Toyota Camry, stolen from Nashville on 11/18.
Officers intercepted the car on Mt. Juliet Rd near Old Lebanon Dirt Rd. After a brief pursuit with spike attempt, the car stopped, and the driver ran. After a foot chase through a wooded area, officers apprehended all occupants.
Initially, the adult male driver from Memphis is being charged with crimes related to fleeing, possession of stolen property, and illegal drugs. The adult female passenger, from Nashville, is being charged with crimes related to illegal drugs.
Other items in the car lead to further criminal activity that is under investigation.
