The ‘Live Like Ambria’ Day is set for Saturday, September 21st at 8 a.m. at Mt. Juliet Parks & Recreation’s Charlie Daniels Park.
The event will only cost $15 per person.
The event will feature the Pickleball Bash, a Volleyball Tournament, a 5K Walk/Run, free activities for the kids, local vendors, live music, and a balloon release in memory of Ambria McGregor.
This year‘s 5K will be a charitable run to be completed in honor of Ambria. Rather than being a timed competition, it is designed to raise funds for the nonprofit created in her name, Ambria’s Oasis.
The goal of this nonprofit is to provide a place of restoration and renewal for families who are experiencing grief from the loss of a child.
The 5K course, “Ambria’s Route,” has officially been mapped out. Performance Race Services will be providing music, photos, videos, and a clock at the finish line for anyone who wishes to track his/her own time.
