A Severe Extreme Cold Warning is in effect for all of Middle Tennessee from 6 PM today until noon CST Tuesday due to dangerously cold wind chills expected to drop as low as 11 below zero. Currently, in Wilson County, it is clear with a temperature of 12.9°F and winds blowing from the north at 7 mph. No precipitation is reported.

Earlier today, temperatures peaked at 17.6°F and dropped to a low of 5.2°F. Winds reached up to 12.1 mph, and the skies were overcast, although no precipitation occurred. This evening, the forecast remains clear with a chilling low of 5.2°F expected and lighter winds up to 5.8 mph. The zero percent chance of precipitation continues through the night.
