For Monday morning, a WIND ADVISORY is in effect for all of Middle Tennessee. As a strong low is moving off to the northeast, this will produce lots of rain and bring stronger winds.

A TORNADO WATCH is in effect until 7 AM  for Clarksville, Waverly and other cities off to the west.

There is a SLIGHT RISK for severe storms this morning and will continue through the early afternoon. The SLIGHT RISK indicates that there’s a considerable chance for strong winds, rain, hail and tornadoes cannot be out-ruled. A picture above from the Storm Prediction Center shows majority of Tennessee in the yellow for the slight risk category.

For the day, highs will be in the upper 60s.

Nashville – 69

Clarksville – 68

Murfreesboro – 69
