Saturday, May 14, 8:00pm

1402 Clinton St, Nashville,TN

Marathon Music Works

Aly & AJ have spent over a decade putting an eternal creative truth into practice: you don’t find your voice by waiting around, you create it! After rising to fame as teen stars in the worlds of Disney pop and TV sitcoms, the sisters continued to quietly write songs. They chiseled away at their craft and the work and hiatus paid off! The sisters are embarking on a small tour before joining Broadway star Ben Platt as the opening act for his worldwide tour. Their first album in 14 years is called “A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the Sun.” This long and winding name befits their singular journey through music. The name also highlights the newly independent sound of Aly & AJ  who have transitioned into something looser and more personal.
