Parent & Kiddo Yoga

Saturday, September 27

Breeden’s Orchard
631 Beckwith Rd, Mt Juliet

What to expect

This is a 45 minute yoga class that combines mindful movement with fun, games, and opportunities to feel more connected to your child(ren).

Even if your child(ren) has never practiced before, they’ll love learning about poses named after animals, using their creative mind to play within the practice, and taking a moment to calm down and let it all soak in during a much-deserved rest at the end of class. Parts of class might include partner poses with you and your kiddo(s), taking our toes off the mat and onto the grass, or interactive games that allow the children to take the lead.

My goal is to help you and your child experience a deeper connection to each other, as well as yourself and your surroundings, through this playful yoga class.

The recommended age for kiddos is 4-8 years but outside that age range is welcome too! Just keep in mind, this is not a class designed for babies or toddlers.

What you need

-A mat, beach towel, or blanket you don’t mind putting on the grass (one for you, one for your kiddo!)

-A bottle of water or something to stay hydrated

-Clothing that is comfy and allows for movement

-An open mind and the willingness to explore yoga, mindfulness, and play together with your child(ren)!

Cost

The fee for this class is $20 per adult (kiddo included) and is paid upon registration.

When you arrive

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before class begins.

This class takes place on the lawn at Breeden’s Orchard.

Once you get to the top of the gravel driveway, you can park in front of the market.
