Friday, June 27, 7pm
Cedar City Brewing Co
112 Public Sq, Lebanon

Chicago-bred pianist Alex Murphy, whose keys have graced legendary venues such as the Jazz Showcase and the Chicago Symphony, brings his masterful jazz foundations and hip-hop sensibilities to the stage.

He’s joined by East Nashville’s own Brian Brown, one of Music City’s most compelling MCs, whose introspective lyrics and jazz-influenced flow have made him a cornerstone of Nashville’s hip-hop renaissance.

Completing this powerhouse trio is the genre-defying Jarren Blair, whose experimental production and keyboard wizardry have earned him spots on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and collaborations with indie darlings like Arlie.

This isn’t just a show – it’s a live fusion experiment where jazz meets hip-hop, where acoustic instrumentation meets modern beats, and where three distinct musical journeys converge into something entirely new.

Saturday, June 28, 3 pm
Sellars Farm State Archaeology Area
400 Gulf St, Lebanon

Sellars Farm State Archaeological Area in Lebanon is considered one of the best preserved Native American villages in the Southeast. But did you know that it also features a superb variety of plants, animals and other natural wonders?

Join Ranger Shauna, the Park Interpretive Ranger at Cedars of Lebanon State Park for a relaxing stroll to explore this area’s diversity. The site features unique trees (including Bur Oak and Musclewood), stunning wildflowers (Wild Blue Phlox, Miami Mist), the rare Tennessee Clubtail Dragonfly, and many splendid views of beautiful Spring Creek.

Total hiking distance will be less than two miles. The flat trails are a mix of shade and sun, so don’t forget sun protection and water. Insect repellent might be a good idea, too. No pets, please.

Please keep in mind that this will not be a fast-paced hike. You will stop frequently to examine and discuss the area’s natural features.

Cost is $5 per person.
Sellars Farm is located off of exit 239 (Watertown) on I-40 east. Poplar Hill Rd is approximately 1 1/2 miles on the left
