If you are a Civil War history buff, this HOP is for you! The day after the 61st Escapade, enjoy a leisurely ride into Franklin and Nashville with a knowledgeable local tour guide and enjoy the scenic views of the beautiful countryside along the way. You will visit the below sites, as time permits: Carnton Cemetery, in Franklin, Winstead Hill, lunch on your own in downtown Franklin, key sites relating to the 1862-1865 Federal occupation of Nashville, sites on the Nashville battlefield- December 15-16, 1864, including Fort Negley, Peace Monument, Shy’s Hill, the W. Nashville site of the 1918 train wreck, Centennial Park- site of the 1897 Centennial Exposition, and The Parthenon!

4Christmas for the Children Golf Fundraiser

Country Hills Golf Club

This year’s golf tournament will take place at the Country Hills Golf Club in Hendersonville, TN this Saturday! It is a four man scramble that lets players of every level have a great time and focus on having fun. It is Christmas for the Children’s way of giving back to those who have given so much to the organization and to the children they help each year. Your entry fee includes: green fees, golf cart, range balls, a hot lunch, and a goody bag! Fees will also contribute to prizes that every participant will receive.
