Wilson County Schools statement:

Wilson County Schools will be CLOSED today (Thursday, February 2nd).

We have discovered some areas of concern in the county this morning.

More wintry precipitation is expected to make its way through our area over the next few hours. That would be during our morning commutes/bus pickups.

We feel it’s best that with the current conditions in place, and conditions forecasted over the next few hours, to close for today.

Kids Club activities will begin at 8:00 a.m. today, and the ATC will be open.

All 12-month employees will report. Should any adjustments in their workday be needed due to weather conditions, then those employees will communicate with their supervisor.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding through this.

This particular winter weather set-up this week has been a difficult one to gauge. It does appear that this is the last day we’ll have these types of conditions around.

From Lebanon Special School District

Due to deteriorating road conditions early this morning and so that we do not jeopardize safety in the transportation of our students and staff,

Lebanon Special School District will be closed today, Thursday, February 2. SACC will be on a snow day schedule.
