Wilson County Schools and Lebanon Special School District will be closed on Wednesday, February 1.

Wilson County Schools statement:

Wilson County Schools will be CLOSED on Wednesday, February 1st.

This is once again due to an increased threat of ice developing through the evening and overnight hours.

With the current forecast of significant icing to occur, the district will utilize a full closure that includes Kids Club and the ATC.

All 12-month employees will not be required to report.

Tonight’s wave of forecasted wintry precipitation has Wilson County included in a “Winter Weather Advisory.”

If traveling this evening or throughout the early morning hours, please be safe!

We will send out additional information tomorrow about the status of Thursday, February 2nd.

From Lebanon Special School District

Due to a winter weather advisory and potential issues with road conditions, Lebanon Special School District will be closed on Wednesday, February 1.

SACC will be closed as well. Higher temperatures later in the day on Wednesday should greatly improve any lingering problems. We look forward to returning to school on Thursday, February 2, at our regular time.
