School Closures for January 20, 2022:
Wilson County Schools
Message from WCS:
Wilson County Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 20th.
This closure is not only due to some icy spots that have been detected early this morning, especially in the northern parts of the county but will also provide added relief for recent staffing issues we’ve experienced due to COVID.
In addition, temperatures will struggle to reach the freezing mark today. There would be very minimal thawing for any roads this morning affected by the overnight weather.
Kids Club will operate on a normal schedule today.
The district’s central office (ATC) will be open. All 12-month employees should report. However, if travel would be difficult for you this morning, then please communicate with your supervisor.
Lebanon Special School District
Message from LSSD:
Due to deteriorating road conditions early this morning and so that we do not jeopardize safety in the transportation of our students and staff, Lebanon Special School District will be closed on Thursday, January 20.
SACC will be open on a snow day schedule.
