Wilson County EMA and community partners will be opening an extreme weather emergency shelter to provide a warm, safe place for those in need during the upcoming extreme cold and snow. cots, pillows, blankets, dinner and snacks will be provided. There is no restrictions on pets coming to the shelter.
- Location: Hale Moss Building, Wilson County Fairgrounds
- 17 Dates: January 8 until the morning of January 12th.
- Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 AM

If you see or know someone that doesn’t have a place to stay the next few days, share this information with them. This is a temporary shelter that will be open during extreme weather conditions. The shelter will also be accepting food and gift card donations, as well as offering transportation.
