Wilson County Schools says students currently receiving free or reduced-price meals will not see any interruption in service due to the ongoing federal government shutdown. Benefits will continue as normal on Monday, November 3, 2025.
Families who have not previously applied but wish to see if they qualify can submit an application at any time during the school year if financial circumstances change. The district provides an online application link for those interested.
The district also shared additional food-assistance resources through its Family Resource Center, including a schedule of community organizations offering local food support.
