February 26, 2025 – A traffic stop this afternoon led to the arrest of a 37-year-old Kingsport woman who had been wanted since January 2023.
The driver, who was stopped for failing to maintain her lane, initially provided a false name.
However, further investigation revealed her true identity and confirmed she was wanted in Sullivan County for failing to appear on multiple drug-related charges, including possession of meth and cocaine, possession of a firearm while in possession of meth, and driving while in possession of meth. She was also found in possession of non-prescribed Schedule II pills.
