Video: WCSO Seeks Info After Trailer Containing Bibles Set on Fire on Easter

May 1, 2024 – Deputies are still pursing leads after a suspicious trailer fire caused a road closure at Old Lebanon Dirt Road and Chandler Road on Easter Sunday.

On the morning of March 31st, 2024, at approximately 6:30 AM, The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a utility trailer burning in the roadway at the intersection of Chandler Rd. and Old Lebanon Dirt Rd. in front of the Global Vision Church. While extinguishing the fire, deputies determined that a large number of Bibles had been intentionally set on fire, and the suspect(s) had fled the scene. This investigation remains very active and ongoing. Wilson County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for this act.

Below is a surveillance video of the incident, during which a large four-door truck is observed fleeing the scene on Chandler Rd. toward Central Pk.
