January 30, 2025 – Around 9:30 a.m. today, Mt. Juliet license plate readers alerted officers to a stolen Chrysler 200 entering Mt. Juliet. The car had been reported stolen from Nashville on 1/27. Officers quickly located it on Lebanon Rd near Mt. Juliet Rd and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled.
Rather than pursuing, officers relayed crucial details to surrounding agencies. Within moments, a WCSO deputy found the car crashed and abandoned on Cooks Rd near Lebanon Rd. MJPD officers flooded the area, leading to the capture of a 22-year-old Nashville woman as she ran through a field. A continued search resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old Nashville man in the 300 block of Bass Lane.
The woman was driving on a revoked license, and the man was wanted in Wilson County for a probation violation related to a conditional release and resisting arrest.
Both were taken into custody and booked into the Wilson County Jail.
