Get out the costumes and grab a classic pumpkin bucket, it’s almost time to go out and trick-or-treat. If your neighborhood is lacking in treats or you want to share the fun with your community, here are six activities taking place in the county to celebrate Halloween.

Saturday, October 18

Halloween in the Park

Charlie Daniel’s Park

1075 Charlie Daniel’s Parkway

Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

Time: 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Admission: FREE

There will be food trucks, hayrides, a petting zoo, inflatables, vendors and LOTS of candy. There will be multiple contests based on age beginning at 11:30 a.m. with a pet costume contest, followed by under one year old, one and two years old, three to four years old, five to six years old, five to nine years old, and ten to twelve years old.

Thrills and Chills in the Campground

Cedars of Lebanon State Park

328 Cedar Forest Road

Lebanon, Tennessee

Time: 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Admission: $2.00 per person for non-campers sold in advance

Come have a “ghostly” good time! Get ready to get your “ghoul” on as campers decorate their sites and visiting children “Trick or Treat” from site to site. There will be trick or treating campsite to campsite, hayrides, special guests, costume contests, and much more! And, oh and CANDY!

No parking in the campground. Public Parking will begin at 4:00 p.m. Wagon rides to the campgrounds will be ongoing back and forth from the splash-pad parking lot. All activities and times are subject to change and are tentative.

Saturday, October 25

Wilson County Public Safety Trunk-or-Treat

Breeden’s Orchard

631 Beckwith Road

Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

Time: 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Admission: FREE

Wilson County Firefighters’ Association and other public safety agencies will host the trunk-or-treat for the whole family. It will offer an unforgettable night of fun featuring bounce houses, tasty food, and entertainment for all ages. And, of course, lots of candy. Mark your calendar for this Halloween celebration.

Halloween on the Square

Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce

Downtown Lebanon

Lebanon, Tennessee

Time: 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Admission: FREE

This event includes candy stations, costume contests for all ages, a car show at First Baptist Church, a photo booth, hot dogs, and other activities for children. This community spirit event is presented by the City of Lebanon and the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce.

Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat

The Way of the Cross Fellowship

671 Lovers Lane

Lebanon, Tennessee

Time: 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Admission: FREE

Join The Way of the Cross Fellowship for their inaugural Fall Festival. There will be live music, fabulous food, games, and a bounce house for the kids! Come on by Lovers Lane Event Space and join the fun any time after 4 o’clock, then stick around to Trunk-or-Treat with the kiddos at 6pm!

Trunk or Treat at M.L. Rose

Providence Village

Time: 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Admission: FREE

This family-friendly evening will take place in the M.L. Rose parking lot and patio. Enjoy candy stations hosted by M.L. Rose and other local businesses. This event is free to attend and open to all ages. Costumes are encouraged! Bring your best spooky or silly look. Bring the whole family and kick off Halloween with M. L. Rose. They can’t wait to see you there!

Tenn Lakes Brewing Company is hosting a Jeep-themed trunk-or-treat with a prize for the Best Decorated Jeep and lots of candy.
