Trevecca Nazarene University’s Dr. Bledsoe Honored with MJPD Community Partner Award

The Mt. Juliet Police Department is proud to announce that Dr. Kristin Bledsoe, Dean of Trevecca Nazarene University’s School of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies, has been named the recipient of the department’s first-ever Community Partner Award.

This award celebrates Dr. Bledsoe’s transformative leadership and dedication to the collaborative partnership between the Mt. Juliet Police Department and Trevecca Nazarene University. Chief Michael Mullins presented the award, emphasizing the profound impact of this partnership on officer development and community safety.

“Our partnership with Trevecca Nazarene University is a shining example of what can be achieved when organizations come together with a shared vision of growth, leadership, and service,” said Chief Mullins. “Through this collaboration, we’ve been able to offer a leadership development program that goes beyond basic skills, focusing on the principles of courage, competence, commitment, compassion, and integrity. This training has elevated not only our officers but also the level of service we provide to the community.”
