August 4, 2024 – On Sunday, a traffic stop for speeding on I-40W in Mt. Juliet led to the discovery of a man wanted by the U.S. Marshals for violating federal supervised release.
The 49-year-old, from Lebanon, originally gave a false name and identity of a person out of Florida. Further investigation revealed the true identity.
Officers discovered a large amount of meth and cash in the car. In 2017, he was sentenced to federal prison for meth trafficking.
He was charged with identity theft, possession of meth for resale, and for the federal warrant.
