June 10, 2024 – Three people have been arrested after they fled police in Mt. Juliet.

Just after 11:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, MJPD officers spotted a car speeding over 90 MPH and driving recklessly on Lebanon Rd near N. Greenhill Rd. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled, prompting the deployment of a spike system near Park Glen Dr, which successfully deflated the car’s tires.

The vehicle came to a halt near Benders Ferry Rd, and three suspects fled into a nearby wooded area. Two passengers were quickly apprehended, and the driver was later found hiding in thick brush.

The suspects, a 21-year-old from Westmoreland (driver), a 19-year-old from Hermitage, and an 18-year-old from Old Hickory, were arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail.

All were suspected to be under the influence.
