“On Friday, July 8th, we were made aware of allegations towards Officer Michael Dyce of possible criminal wrongdoing that occurred off-duty. Once receiving such information, Dyce was immediately decommissioned and removed from service,” stated Chief James Hambrick. “The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation & Metro Nashville Police Department are conducting a complete and thorough investigation into the allegations, and the investigation remains active as Dyce cooperates.”
Dyce began employment at MJPD on 2/24/2020.
