Nashville Sounds: Win 9-4

The Nashville Sounds got back in the win column last night. They beat the Indians in convincing fashion after they had a second inning that saw 9 Sounds batters come to the plate. They scored 5 of them to take a 6-0 lead early in the game. Then later in the game Westbrook and Lopes hit back-to-back home runs to extend the lead to 9-0. The next runs in the game came in the bottom of the ninth as Luke Williams hit a 2-run home run to win it in the last half-inning of the game. It was Williams’ first career home run. Will Smith was on the mound and given the loss.
