Wilson County Schools Closed February 4

School Closures for February 4, 2022:

Wilson County Schools

Message from WCS:

Wilson County Schools will be closed on Friday, February 4th.

This decision has been made with an abundance of caution, and the latest weather forecast information we have received this evening.

Some hazardous road conditions are likely to develop, especially in areas along I-40 and north.

Some areas may not experience icy conditions tomorrow morning, but areas to the north and northwest in Wilson County are of high concern for the morning commute. In addition, temperatures are forecasted to remain below freezing for mostly all of Friday AM.

To ensure safety for all of our students, teachers and staff – Friday, February 4th will be a complete districtwide closure, which means that the district’s central office (ATC) is closed and all Kids Club activities will be closed as well.

Lebanon Special School District

LSSD Closed Friday, February 4, 2022

Due to the uncertainty of the precipitation that continues to fall with below-freezing temperatures through most of the day, it is impossible to predict the conditions of the roads today. Additionally, some slick spots and icy formations were identified during our road assessments this morning. So that we do not jeopardize safety in the transportation of our students and staff, Lebanon Special School District will be closed on Friday, February 4. SACC will be open on a snow day schedule.♦Byars Dowdy Elementary♦Castle Heights Elementary♦Coles Ferry Elementary♦Jones Brummett Elementary♦Sam Houston Elementary♦Walter J.
