Sam’s Club to Celebrate Lebanon Grand Opening with Celebrities, Local Grants

Sam’s Club will celebrate the grand opening of its first Lebanon location with a week of special events, celebrity appearances and community giveaways beginning July 29.

The new 170,000-square-foot store at 600 Willard Hagan Drive officially opens July 30 and will be the retailer’s fifth location in the greater Nashville area. It is also the first new Sam’s Club to showcase the company’s updated branding.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 8 a.m. July 30 and will include local leaders, Sam’s Club executives and the presentation of $15,000 in grants to four local organizations: Empower Me Center, Joseph Storehouse Food Ministry, Lebanon High School Band and Wilson County CASA.

Several celebrities are also scheduled to make appearances during the grand opening, including Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Maren Morris from 10 a.m. to noon on July 30, television personality Tyler Cameron and TINKR’s Tate Madden from 1 to 3 p.m. July 30, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews from 10 a.m. to noon on July 31.

The celebration will also feature product samples, giveaways and games in the parking lot from July 30 through Aug. 1, along with special membership offers for new customers.

The Lebanon club will feature several unique additions, including a connected healthcare experience, a full-service floral department, the only outdoor café at any Sam’s Club location in the country and products from local businesses.
