November 8, 2023 – While investigating a handicap parking violation at the Mapco located near I-40, a MJPD officer encountered an individual with active arrest warrants and dangerous drugs.
The 38-year-old male, from Nashville, had four outstanding felony warrants for violations of the sex offender registry.
In addition, he was found in possession of suspected fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, counterfeit oxycodone pills, and marijuana. He is also presently on parole for prior convictions related to sex trafficking and the distribution of cocaine.
He was later taken into custody.
