Mr. Youssef “Joe Ali” Husseini passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, he was 56 years old.
Joe owned his car dealership, Auto Village of Lebanon, for almost 20 years. He was very active in the community; among his other opportunities for public service, he served as County Commissioner of District 17, was a Board member of the Chamber of Commerce, and he served two terms as Chairman of the Board for Habitat for Humanity of Wilson County. He enjoyed traveling and was a big Titans fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Zainab and Ali Husseini.
Joe is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cristy Standefer Husseini; children: Danielle Husseini and Adam Husseini; brothers: Hussein Husseini, Samir Husseini Sr., and Ghassan Husseini; sisters: Mariam Husseini, Ihsan Husseini Soueidan, Hala Husseini, Fatima Husseini Khater, and Mona Husseini; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and one great-great grandnephew.
The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 4-8 p.m.

OMG, I have missed going by Auto Village and talking to Joe. He was a great Dad and Husband and somewhat a mentor for me. He treated me so well when I was just getting started in insurance 20 years ago. I was also a customer a couple of times. He treated us great but even when I wasn’t a customer and just stopped by he always made time to talk to me. I really appreciated his friendship and will miss him dearly. God Bless him and his lovely family.
