It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tracie Lee Cotton. Tracie passed away peacefully at her home in Mount Juliet, TN, on May 21st, 2024, at the age of 65.
She was born February 5th, 1959, on Edwards AFB in Edwards, CA.
Tracie is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Dorothy and Lester Faber; father and stepmother Edward and Phyllis Bailie.
Tracie is survived by loving and devoted son and daughter-in-law Steven and Jennifer Cotton and grandchildren AJ and Makenzie. Sisters Sandra (Ron) Leviton of MN and Karen (Jeff) Dunn of WI. Uncle and Aunt Eugene (Sharon) Van Hauen; many nieces, nephews, grandniece, and cousins.
Tracie’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family and her deep affection for animals, especially her beloved cairn terriers and west highland terriers, which she fostered and adopted over the last several years. Her compassion and nurturing spirit extended not only to her family but also to the many animals she welcomed into her home.
Tracie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending her leisure time watching crime shows, reality shows, and cooking competition shows. Her warm and welcoming nature made her a cherished presence in the lives of those around her. Tracie’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
