Tom Albert Dowling passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at age 77.
Tom was born in Lake City, Iowa to Laurene Bowers Dowling and Clifford Dowling.
He worked as an Aerospace Mechanical Structural Engineer. He enjoyed his job and building Hot Rods. He also enjoyed yardwork. His wife was his world and he loved his children.
Mr. Dowling is survived by wife: Arleen Leddy Dowling; children: Susan (Chad) Craig, Lori (Bruce) Bragdon, Jill (Brian) Mims, and Lisa Pease; step-children: Jeff Mauterer and Daren Mauterer; grandchildren: Alex Mims, Taylor Wright, Brighton Mims, Logan Bragdon, Jessica Pease, Hailey Pease, and Kinley Mims; step-grandkids: Kim Brinlee, Jonathan Mauterer, Jamie Mauterer, and Michael Mauterer; great-grandchildren: Liam Brinlee, Raya Wright, and on-the-way Brooke Wright; siblings: Wayne (Sally) Dowling, Jane (Mark) Toyne, and Paul (Allene) Dowling; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents Laurene and Clifford Dowling, brothers Donald and Keith Dowling; sister Dianne Dowling, and step-daughter Gwendolyn Dauzat.
The Celebration of Life is 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN.
