Timothy Wayne Wix, AKA “Bones”, age 54 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Robert Gilman officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 30th from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 1st from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow the service at Bush’s Chapel Cemetery, with Josh Abernathy, Shane Craddock, Travis Hunter, Morgan Marks, Brandon Midkiff, and Eddie Munett serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are Rufus Alexander and John E. Keith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.
Mr. Wix was born August 8, 1970 in Gallatin to the late Leonard Ray Wix and Carol Ann Pulley Wix.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather who raised him, Larry Laughlin.
He is survived by wife of 21 years, Ramona Durham Wix of Gallatin; children, Ben Denney (Maree) of White House, Terry Culberth (Kaitlin) of Portland, Michaela Freeman of Gallatin, Stephen Kinnard of Hendersonville, and Dalton Bain of Gallatin; brother, Donnie Wix (Melody) of Gallatin; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Alton Durham of Portland; brother-in-law, Calvin Durham of Portland; grandchildren, Alice Karasuda and Houston Hunter; beloved dog, Gypsy Rose; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and is loved by an extended biker family.
