Timothy Michael McCord passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the age of 56, surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, James Thomas McCord, and his father, Holmer McCord.
Timothy is lovingly survived by his mother, Shirley McCord; his brother, Daryl McCord; his aunts, Sandra McCord, Dorothy Logan, and Linda Attkison; as well as many other cherished family members and dear friends.
Timothy worked as a truck driver and took great pride in his profession. He had a deep love for his country and held a special respect and admiration for the United States military. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his dedication to those he loved, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Timothy’s memory will forever be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
