Thomas O. ‘Tommy’ Breeden, age 83, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on September 19, 2024.

Tommy was born in Nashville, Tennessee on June 30, 1941, to the late Tom and Opal Breeden.

He was a sheet metal worker at DuPont for 22 years. He then became the founder and farmer of Breeden’s Orchard in Mt. Juliet for the next 42 years. Tommy was a loving Christian man who devoted his life to his family. As a husband, Daddy, and PawPaw, he was the greatest, never missing any of his granddaughter Aspen’s activities.

His love for the outdoors and traveling brought him joy, and he was a proud Corvette enthusiast. Generous and kindhearted, Tommy was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His legacy of love, faith, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Sammy Breeden and by his son, Scott Polk.

He is survived by:
Wife of 56 years – Marynell Breeden
Daughter – Michelle Lewis
Granddaughter – Aspen Lewis and future grandson-in-law Kevin Chang

Family and friends will gather for a graveside service on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel.
