Susan McKeever, age 80, of Lebanon, passed away on June 8, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date at Cumberland Presbyterian.
Susan Johanna Murphy McKeever was born in Chicago IL to Mildred Reddy Murphy and William Murphy. She married the love of her life, Michael McKeever, and they set about making a life together.
Susan loved making a home for her family and did so until all three children were out of the nest and making lives of their own. She received her nursing degree and worked as an RN until her retirement.
Susan enjoyed all of her ladies’ groups, Bible Study, Book Club, Mah-Jongg, Pinochle, and the Ladies of Leisure. Her four granddaughters were the light of her life.
Susan is survived by her partner and husband of 53 years, Michael McKeever; children Matthew (Kristen) McKeever, Megan (John) Hamilton, and Kerry (Chris) Hughes; grandchildren Emma and Ellie Hamilton and Cali and Kara Hughes; siblings Jean Stoppani, Kathlene Murphy, and Tom (Roberta) Murphy; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Penny Landauer.
In lieu of flowers, please make Memorial Donations in her name to St. Jude’s, Sherry’s Run, and/or the ALS Foundation.
