Steven Edward Cline, of Sumner County, passed away March 14, 2025, at age 83.
Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Windell Moore and Ricky Graves will be held Wednesday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at Church of God Prophecy, 1415 E. Broadway Gallatin, TN. The family will be receiving friends at the church on Tuesday, March 18 from 2-7 p.m. and Wednesday, March 19 from 12 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Travis Graves, Trevor Graves, Troy Graves, Dickie Cline, Jimmy Counts and Jason Willis.
Steven was born to Nubia Hunt and Luther Cline. He worked at Eaton Corporation for 25+ years. Steven enjoyed playing base guitar, fixing old cars, working in his garden and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Cline, daughters Tammy Cline of Bethpage and Cheryl (David) Thompson of Bethpage, brother Danny (Susie) Cline of Alabama, sisters Sherry (Ricky) Graves of Westmoreland and Regina Bradley of Indiana, two grandchildren Lindsay (Nick) Gordon of Thompson Station and Caitlyn Thompson of Bethpage and 3 great grandchildren Camden, Bennett and Eleanor Gordon.
He is preceded in death by his parents Nubia and Luther Cline, brothers Woodrow Cline, Max Cline, Howard Cline, Noble Cline, Elbridge Cline and Joe Allen Cline and sisters Barbara Ann Dobbs, Joyce Tabelman, Margaret Higgins and Florine Mandrell.
