Shirley Mary Hawkins, age 80 Mt. Juliet, Tennessee formally of Cocoa, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
She is preceded in death by parents, Steven Wallace & Jenny (Richard) Braeutigam; husband, Keith Hawkins; brother, Richie Braeutigam.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her daughters, Lorrie (Darrell) Petree & Cindy (Scott) Charlton; grandchildren, Stephanie (Lane) Rogers, Courtney Petree, Brittany (Issac) Cunningham, Dr. Christopher Charlton, Alyssa Charlton; great-grandchildren, Mali Cunningham, Hayden Rogers, Amelia Abel, Harper Rogers & Ivy Cunningham; sister, Julia Jensen; brother-in-law, Jerry (Helen) Hawkins; nieces, Terry Jean Graham & Jenny Jensen; nephews, Sean Hawkins, Dane Hawkins & Shane Hawkins.
Mrs. Hawkins was a member of College Hills Church of Christ. Her passion was floral arranging and was a Florist for Tropical Flower Shop. She was a Sunday School teacher and taught Pre-School, she loved reading books and her joy in life was entertaining and spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24th, 4-6 p.m. at the College Hills Church of Christ, 1401 Leeville Pike Lebanon, TN 37087. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Hawkins memory to, Mt. Dora Christian Academy & Children’s Home, 301 West 13th Ave. Mt Dora, Florida 32757.
