Shirley Grissim Armstrong passed away on November 9, 2021 at age 79.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Glenn Denton and Brother Jake Lannom, is 11 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN on Thursday 4-8 p.m. and on Friday 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m.
Shirley Grissim Armstrong was born in Lebanon TN to Maggie Lee Belcher and Dillard Jackson Gannon. She devoted her life to her family and took pride in being a homemaker. She loved going to ball games with her kids and grandkids, traveling, and being with her favorite dogs Rufus and Pepper.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Owen Armstrong; children: Dwayne (Dawn) Grissim, Sherry Grissim (Robert) Edwards, Tonya Grissim (Jay) Makatche, Paula Armstrong (Gary) Heird, and Pamela Armstrong Kelly; sister: Darlene Gannon (John) McCulloch; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandson Darryl Kelly, parents Dillard and Maggie Gannon, and dogs Rufus and Pepper.
