Shirley Craddock, age 78, of Watertown TN, passed away at home on August 4, 2025.
Shirley Ann Wright Craddock was born in Kingston Springs TN to Lydia King Wright and John Shannon Wright.
She was quite the bowler in her younger years. Shirley was great at sewing and cleaning. She always had a washcloth in her hand, except when she was laying out in the sun.
Shirley loved the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. Golden Girls, Heat of the Night, and scary movies were her favorite shows.
Shirley worked at Alladin in Nashville before working for Housekeeping at Saint Thomas Hospital and at the Marriott.
Shirley Craddock is survived by her daughter Shelia (John) Gilley, grandchildren Michael Gilley and Courtney Gilley, sisters-in-law Vicky Wright and Lucy Wright, niece Geneva McCloud, great-nephew Jeremy McCloud, great-niece Teresa K. Pedler, and many beloved extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by partner Paul Rick Williams, her parents Lydia and Shannon Wright, brothers Johnny Wright and Frank Wright, and sisters Carina Taylor, JoAnn McClellan, Jewel Altic, Agnes Wright McCord, and Birdie Mae Peach, and bulldog UGA.
