Sarah Elizabeth Ogle Lasater- age 93 passed away Saturday July 4, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Kelly Ogle & Almedia Lucille Hudson Ogle; husband, Raymond Allen Lasater; infant son, Allen Wayne Lasater; son & daughter-in-law, Kevin Dean Lasater & Patricia Ann Sullivan Lasater; and great-granddaughter, Linsey Dawn Weaver.
Sarah is survived by her children, Karen (Tom) Weaver, Charles Boyd (Leigh Ann) Lasater, and Myron (Dana) Lasater; grandchildren, Robert (Kim) Weaver, Tommy (Andrea) Weaver, Charles (Shonna Huntsman) Weaver, Phillip (Amber) Lasater, Megan Lasater, Connie (Jake) Schutt, Chris (Kelly) Lasater, John (Mallory) Lasater, Hailey (Sam) Roller, and Austin Lasater; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren: numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Sarah was a graduate of Lebanon High School Class of 1950 and married the love of her life, Raymond Lasater shortly after graduation. Together, she and her beloved husband built a life filled with love, happiness, and adventure. Through the years, they shared countless memories, supported one another through life’s joys and challenges, and created a legacy centered on faith, family, and devotion.
Mrs. Lasater was a devoted homemaker cooking wonderful meals for her family. She was a compassionate caregiver, and avid gardener who found great joy in caring for others. Sarah was a talented seamstress and had a passion for playing the piano. She dearly loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them. A faithful member of Leeville Church of Christ, her Christian faith was an important part of her life and was reflected in the kindness and love she shared with those around her.
Visitation will be held on Monday July 6, 2026 4-8 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Visitation on Tuesday July 7, 2026 11:00 a.m. until funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Ken Thomas & Sarah’s son, Myron Lasater will officiate the service. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
