Sandra Kay Word, age 78 of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at her residence.
Born Nov. 11, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Lois Harel Beckwith and she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Cato.
Kay was a member of Commerce Church of Christ and was a longtime employee of Robertshaw Lux Time.
Kay is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Green and Crystal (Kevin) Woodard; grandchildren, Jessica Gammons, Josh Gammons, Kayla Allen (Aaron Casey), Jacob Thomas; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Crayton Key, Taylor Gammons, Khloe and Kinlee Morgan, Golie Garrett, Kayden Gammons, Sky Craddock, Hunter Allen, Magnusson Allen, Owen and Spencer Caskey; great-great grandchildren, Lilo and Natalie Hensley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home with Chaplin Chandra Sanders officiating. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. till service time on Wednesday. Pallbearers, Jacob Thomas, Crayton Key, Kevin Woodard, Aaron Caskey, Eddie Woodard, Dustin Woodard.
