Margaret Ruth Banner, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother, was born in 1933 to Mathew and Virgie Allen in the small mountain town of Trafford Alabama. Though she came from humble beginnings, her life’s journey carried her to many places, where she touched countless lives and left a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know her.
Ruth was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A devoted Christian, she often spoke of the joy she would feel when the day came that she could walk hand in hand with Jesus through Heaven’s pearly gates, shouting praise to the Lord. Because of her unwavering faith, our family finds comfort in knowing that this promise has been fulfilled and that she now rests in the loving arms of her Redeemer, surrounded forever by the warmth of God’s grace.
Mom, our family will always love and honor your memory as we look forward to the day, we all are reunited once again in the glory of Heaven.
In lieu of flowers, please make Memorial Donations to her favorite charity, Lebanon’s New Leash on Life.
