Robert H. Mitchell (Bobby), age 88, of Lebanon TN, passed away on February 5, 2025.
Bobby was born in Greenville SC on December 22, 1936 to Helen and Donald Mitchell. He graduated from Central High School in Nashville, class of 1954. He served in the U.S. Navy.
In civilian life, he worked as a newspaper typesetter for the Nashville Banner and Donelson Printing Company. Bobby loved working in the yard because there was always something to do. He also enjoyed football, especially the Titans, listening to audio books and visiting the Public Library.
He was always ready to share a joke and make people laugh.
Bobby is survived by his daughters Laura (Rick) Youmans and Susan (Matt) Wilcox and grandchildren Solomon and Macy Wilcox.
There will be a graveside service and celebration of life in June. Donations can be made in his name to the Humane Association of Wilson County.
