Robbie Jean Lea age 88, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025 at her Lebanon residence.
She was born Feb. 25, 1936 in Wilson County, daughter of the late Robert Earl Sloan and Leona Adams Sloan.
Robbie was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Raymond “Red” Lea in 2020; a sister, Joyce Sloan Smithwick and brothers, Marcus, Ralph and Melvin Sloan.
Robbie was a loving Mother and homemaker, and a longtime member of Barton’s Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Marie Lea of Lebanon, Carl Lea and his wife, Terry of Lebanon and Timmy Lea and his wife, Rose of Brush Creek; grandchildren, Stephanie Lea, Amber Lea, Christopher Lea, Brandon (Chelsea) Lea. Brittany Lea; great grandchildren, Jacob, Jasmine and Aaliyah Farmer, Thomas Lea, June and Jesse McCleary, Porter Lea; sister, Nelda Sloan Garrett; special niece, Theresa Luick and other loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025 at Barton’s Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jacob Caldwell and Rev. Jamie Watson officiating. Visitation will be at Barton’s Creek Baptist Church from 2-6 p.m. Monday and Noon till service time on Tuesday.
