Rickey Lee Lehew, born on September 10, 1958, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2024, in Lebanon, Tennessee.
He was the son of the late Gene Lehew and Joan Binkley.
Rickey’s life was a journey defined by adventure, hard work, and an enduring love for family and friends. He carried with him a treasure trove of stories and memories that he shared with those lucky enough to hear them. Rickey’s kind spirit and generous heart were unmatched—no challenge was too great, and he always found joy in helping others.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Chris (Jacqueline) Horne, Randi (Bryan) Burns, and Amanda Moss. His love and guidance live on through his beloved grandchildren: Alexis Horne, Nathaniel Horne, Cynthia Burns, Logan Burns, Dustin Burns, Cody Moss, and Zaura Moss. Rickey’s memory will also be cherished by his siblings Curtis (Patty) Lehew, Cathy Booth and Mark (Joanna) Ferrell.
Rickey Lee Lehew’s memory will be a lasting reminder of the beauty in life’s journey, the power of kindness, and the joy of a well-told story. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held, at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home. His family and friends will gather at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. Sunday for a time of remembrance. https://www.hunterfuneral.com
