Rick Bowen-West, age 62 of Lebanon TN, passed away on April 29, 2026. A private Graveside service will be scheduled at a later date.
Ricky Dempsey Bowen was born in Lebanon TN to Lou Ada Ward Bowen and J.E. Bowen Jr. He enjoyed study and became highly educated through University of Maryland, University College of Maryland, College Park, and Draughon’s Junior College. He worked as a tech writer for several companies.
Rick took great pride in his flower gardens, and in his beloved Cadillac, which he washed inside and out every Saturday. Holidays, especially Christmas, spent with family were his favorite times. Rick loved going out to eat, travelling, and tending to his cats.
Rick is survived by his life partner of 22 years, Dennis Hill, siblings John (Brenda) Bowen, Randall (John Denmark) Bowen, and Deanna (Shannon) Harp, sister-in-law Tammy Bowen, brother-in-law Lillard “Lody” Seay, aunts, uncles, cousins, beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents Lou and J.E. “Pop” Bowen, sister Glenda Seay, and brother Bobby Bowen.
