Philip Robert Sheridon, age 87 passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, in Lebanon, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Philip Fuller Sheridon & Letitia Funni Sheridon; and his sister, Suzanne Sheridon Barr.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Cecilia Sheridon; sons, Philip (Cathy) Sheridon & Paul (Denelle) Sheridon; daughters, Roberta (Phil) Luckett, Jessica (Les) Pinion, & Christin(Brian) Wright; brothers, Nicholas Keith (Katherine) Sheridon & Jon Brewster (Michelle) Sheridon; stepsons, Micah Lee, Joshua Lee, Daniel Lee, & David Foster; 10 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.
He served the Navy for 4 years in Laos and Vietnam during the Korean War before starting his career at Ford’s Rouge Plant. He was a proud Boy Scout and Explorers leader, enjoyed tent camping and deer hunting, and was a passionate amateur turned professional photographer. His career as a mechanical engineer developed where he traveled nationally and internationally building hospitals. All of us traveled to visit him at so many of these places. It was on his trip to Thailand where he met and married Cecilia (Ces) in 2006.
A Celebration of Life with Military honors will be held at a later date in early Spring.
