Peggy Harris, age 76, of Lebanon TN, passed away on November 18, 2025. The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Phil Wilson, is 2 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m.
Peggy Lee Hargis Whited Harris was born in Muncie IN to Cora Alice Pullins Hargis and James Lee Hargis. Peggy loved making a home and raising her family well. She loved cooking, and since she had a sweet tooth, there were always goodies for all to enjoy. Peggy was all about her family, especially the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were her greatest joy. She also enjoyed reading and scrapbooking. She worked at the Mt. Juliet SuperBurger and also in the jewelry department at Walmart.
Peggy is survived by her children: Kevin (Spring) Whited and Angela (Christian) Harbula; brother: James Cecil Hargis; grandchildren: Alicia Frazier, Nikki Mitchell, Michael (Becky) Brown, Brooke Harbula, Allison Harbula, and Anna Whited; great-grandchildren: David Barnett, Joshua Frazier, Gage Zelek, Brayden Zelek, Cameron Rickway, Cora Hill, Hunter Brown, and Cole Brown; and uncle: Luther Ray (Stella) Hargis. She is preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Jean Frazier, husband Wendell Carmack Harris, father of her children Roy Eugene Whited, parents Cora Alice and James Lee Hargis, sister Alice Marie Presley, and brother Billy Ray Hargis.
