Mr. Pastor Manuel David Licon Sr., age 85 of Lebanon passed away on September 10, 2024, at AHC in Mount Juliet.
He was born June 29, 1939, in Refugio, Texas.
He was a retired pastor. He pastored Iglesia Emanuel from November 1996 until December 2015. He also founded Light in the Prisons Ministry in Nashville. He was a member of Redemption Fellowship in Lebanon.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Francisca, his wife, Margarita, and several siblings.
He is survived by two children: David Licon and Yvette (Earl) Pond; two stepsons, Armon Moreno and Rodolfo Morena; grandchildren: Jordan, Graham, & Trey Licon, Blakcely & Harrison Pond; two great-grandchildren: Eli & Eden Licon.
Funeral service for Pastor Manuel David Licon Sr. will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2024, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with David Licon and Pastor Hal D. Adcock officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 P.M. at the Greenwood Cemetery North in Goodlettsville. Visitation Friday from 9 am until service.
