O.T. Haynes, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by parents, Maylon and Mildred Haynes; sisters, Barbara Mae Haynes, Nanny Frances Vance, and Hilda Faye Watkins,
Mr. Haynes is survived by wife of 56 years Carolyn Elaine Haynes; son, Jimmy (Belinda) Haynes; daughter, Linda Faye (Marcos) Candelero; grandchildren, Hunter Myers, Will (Caroline) Haynes, Cheyenne Hart, and Joshua Haynes; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Peyton, Luka, and Essie Jo; sister, Jo Ann Watkins; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Mr. Haynes was a Vietnam Army Veteran and was retired from the Alvin C. York Veteran’s Hospital. He loved gardening, watching drag racing, and Tennessee Titans football.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Bro. Jason Mull will officiate and interment with Military honors will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Associates of Vietnam Chapter 1004 Inc., Lebanon, TN 37087 in memory of O.T. Haynes.
