Misty Dawn Ray Morgan – Age 47, of Lebanon, went to be with her Lord and savior on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Misty is preceded by her mother, Judy Ann Lackey Ray; maternal grandparents, Frank and Emily Lackey; paternal grandparents, Paul and Ina Mae Smith Ray; and her aunt, Cathy Lynn Ray.
She is survived by her son, Lucas Alexander Morgan; aunt, Rita Ray, all of Lebanon, TN; father, William Daniel Ray, Sr. (Danny); stepmom, Diana (Lynn) Ray; brothers, William Daniel (Bubba) Ray, Jr., James Daniel Paul Ray, of Mt. Juliet; her sister, Holly Elizabeth Ray Moore (Josh) of Kanazawa, Japan; uncles, Paul, Tim, and Richard Ray; and her fur baby, King.
Misty was a graduate of the adult high school in Lebanon. She was a former employee of the Cracker Barrel main office and Universal Builders of Mt. Juliet. She was a former Cub Scout leader with Pack 435 Lebanon, TN. Misty enjoyed cooking, camping, her family, chocolate, and her dog, King.
Misty was saved and baptized in the Pentecostal faith.
A Celebration of Misty’s life will be held on Saturday, May 17th, at Cooks United Methodist Church, located at 7919 Lebanon Road, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Visitation with the family will be from 9AM until 10AM. The Celebration of Life will follow at 10AM.
