Milton “Tim” Harper of Lebanon passed away Thursday, July 4th at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lelia Harper.
He is survived by wife of 57 years Sylvia Harper; daughters Meredith (Mike) Burger and Paula Petty; grandchildren, Timothy Muhsman Ashlynn Muhsman, Joshua Muhsman, Sydney Petty and Tyler Petty; great-grandchild, Beau Johnson; brother, John “Hippie” Harper and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tim served his country in Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief, he was a very successful salesman in the furniture industry. In his retirement, he became a renovator of houses and was accomplished in furniture restoration. He loved Florida and spent many winters there. He loved his Wife, Children and grandchildren and spent many hours with his great-grandson “Beau”.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 7th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jim Kubic will officiate the service. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gerald Poteete, David McKinney, John Allen and Charlie Bond.
