Melvin Lee Haynes age 66 of Lebanon, died Friday, March 14, 2025 at his residence.
Born May, 6, 1958, he was the son of the late Jesse and Nellie Haynes and was preceded in death by a brother, James Haynes and sisters, Ruby Goolsby, Patsy Barrett and Ann Jordan.
Melvin was a 21 year employee of Hartmann Luggage Co. and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Doreta Davenport Haynes; sisters, Nancy Stroud and Shirley Reed; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Haynes officiating.
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. till service time on Monday.
Pallbearers, Tony Fuller, Clark Cowley, Bobby Stroud, Nathan and Robert Haynes.
Interment will follow at Bradley’s Creek Cemetery.
